Dear neighbors,

As a member of the working class in Miami-Dade County, I've always been told that positions of power are reserved for those who are wealthy and well connected. In 2024, I'm setting out to break that glass ceiling. Talent and work ethic should shine above all, above cronyism, nepotism and the good Ole Boy or Girl club.

That is why this upcoming county mayoral election is the most important in our generation’s history. Under my leadership, it'll feel like county government really works for you. When county officials and bureaucrats raised taxes by over 10% on working families, I lowered them by 10% in Miami Lakes. Currently, the county has an adversarial view of those pulling buildings permits, but in Miami Lakes, we view you as partners in moving our community forward by creating jobs and we eliminated the bureaucratic red tape without the need for businesses or residents hiring lobbyist or outside influences.

As we focus on the future, this election is more than just that, it's a cause. A cause to structurally reform our county government to ensure a more regional perspective on the issues that matter most to us. It's bringing together small business owner and the working class in the 305 like never before. Taking on issues like housing affordability, transportation and having our county take a role in alleviating insurance cost.
